Kevin Anderson was the founder and former CEO of Unite Private Networks (UPN). He previously founded and served as CEO for triple play providers Unite Communications and Everest Connections, served as a business development executive for UtiliCorp, and as an audit and business consultant for Arthur Andersen & Co. Kevin has over 35 years of telecommunications and utility industry experience and has held board positions at several U.S. and international organizations.
Vonya is responsible for driving a work culture that embodies Segra’s mission and core values while fostering employee satisfaction and maximizing workforce potential. Prior, Vonya worked for Cox Communications in several roles, including VP People Solutions and Director of Human Resources.
Jeremy oversees Carrier Relations, Access Management, and Network Strategy. Jeremy has 20 years of wholesale telecommunications experience, including Group Vice President of Carrier Services of Unite Private Networks, VP of North America Wireline for Zayo, and time at TW Telecom and Citynet Wholesale. Jeremy was born and raised in Tulsa, OK and earned his BS in Marketing from Oklahoma State University.
Kelly has over 20 years of telecommunications management experience. Kelly has spent her career dissecting corporate strategies and establishing associated initiatives to set the pace of cohesive implementation. Throughout her career, Kelly has managed multiple teams spanning program management, process improvement, reporting, and systems/tools and ensured each team was optimally developed and operating within budget. Kelly earned a degree in Political Science, International Policy.
Justin oversees and leads the pre-sales engineering organization to develop scalable custom circuit design solutions. In addition, he heads product strategy, development, and sustainment to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Justin has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry including experience with sales, engineering, network operations, outside plant, colocation, and product strategy. He holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Jay has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, with expertise in sales, engineering, outside plant, access management, and strategy. He is the Senior Vice President of Carrier Services at Segra, providing network infrastructure to carrier and wholesale providers. Previously, Jay was Vice President of Carrier Services at Cox Business, where he launched Cox’s wholesale Ethernet service portfolio, generating over $200M annually. He has been active in the Metro Ethernet Forum and various industry initiatives.
David oversees engineering teams, focusing on Network Architecture and Design, Strategic Network Planning, Managed Services and implementing consistent engineering standards. David has over 30 years of telecommunications experience with companies such Unite Private Networks, TW Telecom, and Frontier Communications, holding various leadership positions throughout his tenure. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology for Telecommunications Engineering Technology.
Tish Harrison serves as CFO at Segra and is responsible for providing executive leadership and setting the strategic vision for financial, budgeting, supply chain and accounting practices. She spent 19 years at Cox Enterprises, where she led Cox Communications’ short- and long-term transformation initiatives to accelerate strategic growth and drive operational efficiency. A Florida A&M graduate, Tish also holds a master’s in accountancy from Notre Dame, an MBA in finance from Georgia, is a WICT Betsey Magness alumna, and serves on the Atlanta Women’s Foundation Board. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Reginald, and their dog, Sage.
Sunshine has over 20 years of public and private experience in Human Resources, including 7 years in the telecommunications industry, previously serving as the Director, Human Resources at Unite Private Networks. In her role, she partners with senior leadership to foster a workplace environment consistent with Segra’s values and mission. She oversees benefits, change management, employee relations, payroll, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Sunshine is a graduate of Baker University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Management.
Thomas has over 20 years of telecommunications experience with companies such as TW Telecom and Unite Private Networks. In his role, Thomas oversees day-to-day operations and fiber management, focusing on efficient service delivery, alignment with customer needs, and the maintenance of accurate network data. He holds a degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
Chad has over 17 years of telecommunications management experience with companies such as Frontier Communications, Giantloop Networks, and most recently, he spent 10 years at tw telecom, last serving as Senior Director of Field Operations. As COO he has responsibility for Network Architecture, Fiber Construction, Field Operations, IT, Customer Support, and Business Analytics. Chad earned a degree in Engineering Technologies from Alfred State College and attended the University of Rochester for Economics.
Matthew leads the company’s enterprise sales efforts. With over 16 years in telecommunications sales, including 12 years in leadership roles, he has a proven track record of driving growth and building strong customer relationships. Prior to Segra, he held key roles at Unite Private Networks, Level 3, SureWest Communications, and NuVox Communications. Matthew studied Business at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln and brings strategic vision to Segra’s market growth.
Brandi oversees all corporate marketing functions. She brings nearly 20 years of marketing experience to her role, including 11 years in the telecommunications industry, previously serving as Vice President of Marketing at Unite Private Networks. She holds a degree in Marketing from Sam Houston State University.
Jay is responsible for accounting, financial planning, billing and collections. He brings 20+ years of public and private company experience in accounting, financial operations and telecommunications to Segra. Prior to joining Segra in 2019, Jay was VP, Accounting and Planning for Shenandoah Telecommunications Company and held various positions with Centennial Communications, last serving as VP, Caribbean Controller. Jay received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Villanova University.
Jeff has 29 years of Telecommunications experience with Cox Communications and Segra. Most recently he spent 4 years as Executive Director of Service Assurance at Cox Communications. Jeff oversees Customer Care, Tier II, NOC Engineering and Change Management with primary focus on customer experience.
Matt has 16 years of in-house general counsel experience in highly-regulated industries facing compliance challenges. Prior to that time, Matt worked for several years as a litigator for a national law firm based in Kansas City. Matt has a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri and a law degree from the University of Kansas. He is married to Laura and has three kids (Catie, Ellie, and Joey).
Sherri is an experienced Human Resources leader, overseeing talent acquisition, compensation, employee development, and engagement at Segra. Her focus is on hiring the right talent, and empowering employees and leaders to reach their fullest potential while upholding the company’s core values. Previously, Sherri held senior HR leadership roles with NTELOS and Lumos Networks, where she supported comprehensive HR functions across the organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Organizational Development from James Madison University.
